24/7 Emergency Locksmith

Locked out or dealing with a broken lock always seems to happen at the worst possible time. It’s not just inconvenient—it’s stressful, and there’s always the concern about how long it’ll take to fix and how much it’ll cost.

At KeyPro Locksmiths, we keep both time and cost to a minimum. Based right here in Wearside, we focus solely on the local area, which means we can reach you anywhere in Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, South Shields, Jarrow, Hebburn, Washington, Birtley, East Boldon, Chester-le-Street, Houghton-le-Spring, Seaham, or Murton, usually within 30 minutes.

As for price, yes it depends on the lock, but for a standard home lockout during the day the cost is just £70 all in. There’s no call-out fee to pay, and because we’re a local independent business—not part of a large or national firm—we don’t charge VAT either. That’s an immediate saving of at least 20% compared to many other locksmiths.

We also make sure to get you back inside without damaging your lock. Our first approach is always to use professional lock-picking techniques and specialist tools, a method that succeeds in nearly every case.

If you’re locked out or facing a broken lock emergency, call 07436 509831 and let us get your day back on track quickly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Contacted Craig after my home fix to solve a dropping and catching French door failed. He attended the next day was professional, non judgmental and incredibly reasonable in cost and had it fixed in no time. Would not hesitate to recommend or use his services again. It’s such a relief to find good local tradesmen.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding service! Had a bit of a nightmare with my door lock recently. I phoned KeyPro locksmiths and Craig came out really quickly, which was even more impressive as we were just heading into a bank holiday weekend. He sorted it all out and got the lock working again without any fuss.

The price was brilliant too. Costs were explained clearly. There were no unexpected add-ons

Couldn’t have asked for anything more really. Craig went completely above and beyond and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We could not unlock our front door and had been told by a previous trademan that the door would need replacing. Craig came out promptly and quickly reassured me that the door was fixable. He unlocked it and fitted a new lock at a very reasonable price. Craig was very professional and I highly recommend him.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Called on a Saturday as my door was jammed shut, he came out within the hour, opened it and secured it, but it needed a new gear, scheduled replacement for Monday morning. Turned up on time and was fixed within an hour. Very reasonable price, would definitely recommend.
